Cheatmode:
----------
Hold [Left Shift] + [Right Shift] and type desertwatch to
unlock the cheat menu at the options screen.
Cavalry Charge: Destroying ZSUs:
--------------------------------
Instead of shooting the ZSUs with an anti-tank launcher,
shoot them with a sniper gun. They should blow-up.
You can now "paint" the tanks so an air strike will blow
them up.
Cavalry Charge: Ghostly rolling pot:
------------------------------------
Fight your way through the Iraqis. When you are almost
to the end, you will find a camp to the left of the road.
Go in it and look for a pot over a fire. Bring up Bradley
and shoot the pot with his pistol (near the stands). This
may require a few attempts. It should roll away into the
distance. If it stops, shoot it again.
Lights Out: Killing General Aziz:
---------------------------------
When you are trying to kill general Aziz at the end, take
out the "laser" and lock on so it turns red. He will run out.
Take him out with a sniper, then evacuate.
Lights Out: Easy completion:
----------------------------
When at the tunnel, go to the end and with Foley. Shoot a
rocket at the wall and a walkway should appear. Walk through
and you will complete the level.
Safe passage: Finding troop:
----------------------------
When you get to the car that has been blown up, walk to
the wall behind it. A troop will be there.
Destroying helicopters:
-----------------------
When a Hind appears, it will hover above you and start
shooting. Do not bother with the rockets; just use a sniper
rifle and shoot its belly twice.
Getting past tanks:
-------------------
If you are out of grenades, anti-tank weapons, anti-air
weapons, C4 or anything else that can destroy a tank, use
the following trick to get past them. First, kill all the
enemy soldiers around. Make sure the gunner of the tank is
taken out. You can kill him with a sniper shot. Take only
one person and have him run at the tank, With smoke bombs
equipped, throw a smoke bomb before the tanks shoot at you.
If all went well, you should be standing directly next to
the tank, only it cannot blow you up. Next, move yourself
around the tank, to make the barrel point in another area
away from where your group must pass. Have the rest of your
team run to cover, past the tank. Then have the Man who is
standing next to the tank look at where his team is now
located. Make sure they are in cover then throw a smoke
bomb and run. If all goes well, you should get past the
tank without dying. This technique works well in the level
where you must escort Dr. Franklin to the sewers.
Easy stats:
-----------
If you want Foley to calm himself faster in between shots
with his sniper rifle, enable the "Cheat mode" code. Select
a short and easy mission (such as Safe Passage, Special
Delivery, etc.). It does not matter which team you choose
(U.S. Delta Force or British SAS). Do these missions
repeatedly about three times. Foley should get a level
increase, be promoted a rank, get a Sniper skill star,
and if your accuracy is high enough, a service medal.
This trick only works if Foley gets over 65% accuracy
on the missions.
Soldier on reserve:
-------------------
When you are nervous about something coming up, for
example, a tank and you do not have C4 or any missiles,
instead of putting all your men on the line, put one on
reserve (leave someone behind). This way, if all the
other soldiers go down a health bar, there is another
to heal them. In worst-case scenario, if all the others
die beyond medical help, you still have one person
remaining, which is better than dying altogether.
Tank mines:
-----------
On certain levels, tank mines can be truly annoying.
Instead of getting your worst man to go out and run
on the mines, throw a grenade on them and they should
all explode.

Change soldier color:
---------------------
You can change the color of your soldier from white to black or black to white
by blowing him up with a grenade and finishing the level. Note: He will lose
experience -- do this early.
Easy stats:
-----------

etc. to a single person. If you have this person advance and he gets taken down by
a tank, your other teammates might not have the firepower needed to even get close
to the downed person, let alone heal him. It is always a good idea to have each
teammate equipped with at the least one high powered explosive in case you need to
take something out.
Weak spots on tanks:
--------------------
All tanks have very heavy front and side armor. However, the tank's rear is lightly
armored. Smaller tanks can be hit with a rocket almost anywhere and will usually
explode. However, larger tanks must be attacked with an explosive from behind.
If you shoot it from the front or side, chances are you will not even make a dent.
Last resort attack on tanks:
----------------------------
If you need to take out a tank but have no more long range rockets, it is possible
to get close to it without getting hit. First, you will need to have a sniper rifle
to zoom in on the top of the tank to take out the gunner, if there is one. After
he is down, throw a smoke bomb in the direction of the tank. Try to get the smoke
bomb in as close to it as possible. While the smoke is in the air, you can run up
to the tank without being hit. The smoke will make it impossible for the tank to
see you. Get directly next to the tank and plant a C4 next to it. After it is
planted, throw another smoke bomb slightly further away from the tank. Make a mad
dash for the smoke. If you are fast enough, you will get behind the wall of smoke
and can then make your way to safety. Then, detonate the C4. If you have C4 with
a detonator, run to the tank, crouch, plant the C4, then quickly run away.
When you get about 10 feet away, use the detonator to explode the C4.
Last resort attack on SCUDs:
----------------------------
SCUDs can be blown up with the sniper rifle if they are in the launch position.
Shoot the rocket a few times with it.
Charge the enemy:
-----------------
The game sends an infinite amount of troops after the alarm has been set.
The best way to defend yourself is to charge ahead as fast, but also as safely,
as possible. In some levels you can cut down the number of men by almost fifty.
If you are low on ammunition, health, etc., this is a good way to cut down on
the amount of men you have to deal with. It also works sometimes if you send a
man far ahead and hold him there, then do your objectives for your mission.
Tank mines:
-----------
On certain levels, tank mines can be truly annoying. Instead of getting your worst
man to go out and run on the mines, throw a grenade on them and they should all
explode.
AT mines:
---------
Use the following trick if you are tired of always stepping or driving over AT
mines (Cavalry Charge is good for this). First, clear out the area of Iraqi
infantry and armor. Set Foley and Conners up on a hilltop, either lying down or
crouching, and have Jones and Bradley move in the area where the mines are placed.
Have Bradley out of harms way, away from any explosives to cover Jones. If possible,
have Jones move as far as possible into the minefield. Have him set a brick of C4,
then run back out the way you came. Detonate the C4 and you will have an alley
that your men and M2 tank can move through. If you are out of C4, frag grenades
do the same thing, but do not have as much coverage as the C4.
Destroying heavy armor tanks:
-----------------------------
Find the man with C4s and give his detonator to someone else. Keep everyone back
except for the man who has the C4. Quickly run to the tank and plant the C4. When
you are finished, get another troop to call him back. When he runs back, the tank
should be focused on him. Change to the man with the detonator and use it. If this
works, everyone should make it out alive. However, if he does not make it, you can
clear the area then heal him. Also, you can trick the tanks by using any of your
men except the demolitions man and create a diversion on the side of the tank
opposite to your team. Get the man next to the tank so that he will not be harmed,
then switch to the demolitions man. While the tank is looking at the other man,
sneak up to it, plant a C4 explosive, and run away.
Destroying helicopters:
-----------------------
When a Hind appears, it will hover above you and start shooting. Do not bother
with the rockets; just use a sniper rifle and shoot its belly twice.
Destroying SCUDs:
-----------------
On levels such as SCUD Alley, if you have run out of rockets, C4 and grenades,
due to unexpected tanks, etc., SCUDs can be destroyed with the Bradley's grenade
launcher or by machine gunning them.
Destroying tanks:
-----------------
When you see a tank (for example, the one directly in front of you at the start
of Scud Alley), take two people, Foley and Jones. Have Foley shoot out the gunner.
The turret should then rotate a full 360 degrees as if it were checking where the
shot came from. At this point, switch to Jones and run straight at the tank. It is
essential that you reach the tank as soon as possible. As soon as you reach it,
lay down. Foley should snipe off the advancing soldiers. As you are behind the
tank, they do not hit you and instead cause damage to the tank. Plant a C4 and
detonate it. Just let Jones blow up with it. Jones will be dead on the floor behind
a tank (in cover, which is useful). At this point, switch to Bradley and have
everyone follow him. Rush forward using the tank for cover, shooting as you run
then heal Jones. This trick can be used for just about any tank, even moving ones.
Just run up behind them, fire a shot at the back of them and they will stop,
allowing you to plant the explosive. To kill tanks easily, equip a mine and plant
it directly in front of it. Note: You will die doing this; make sure you have another
soldier ready to heal you.

Bad Moon mission:
-----------------
When reach the part where there are two bunkers, hold your squad before
you reach the field. Then, take one man and move him behind one of the
first boulders. Do this to the rest of the squad then move up. Next,
throw smoke grenades so they cannot see you. While the smoke is still
there, throw bombs into both of the bunkers. More VC soldiers will enter
the bunkers; hurry and move up to the right to the next battle.
The Sacred Statue mission: Keep H'done out of danger:
-----------------------------------------------------
Leave all squad members where they are when you begin the mission. Just
take one member and go to the gate and talk to H'done so that she will
lead the way into the jungle. When she says "Try to keep up the path
leads this way!", she will stop and a message will appear telling you
to rally your squad with H'done before she continues. Ignore the message
and keep following the path until you reach the first booby trap on the
path. Tell you squad to fall in. H'done will still not continue when the
other squadmates arrive. Then, just continue with the mission as usual,
and do not go back to retrieve H'done. When you reach the temple gate,
H'done will suddenly appear behind you as if she followed you the whole
way. She will unlock the gate and you will not have to protect her any
longer. If you get lost in the jungle without H'done, go to the objectives
menu and use the map to find your way.
Recommended squad equipment setup:
----------------------------------
Ragman: Any type of submachine gun, any machine gun (backup machine gun
for Hoss), or rocket launcher (for Hoss to use if you need to take out a
tank because he cannot hold a rocket launcher and a machine gun at the same
time), or a shotgun.
Junior: Any sniper rifle, M79 grenade launcher, pistol.
Hoss: Any machine gun, a submachine gun or an assault rifle (backup weapon),
pistol.
Cherry/Doc: Any assault rifle or submachine gun, any machine gun (backup
machine gun for Hoss) or a rocket launcher (for Hoss).
1st Air Cav mission:
--------------------
At the beginning of the level, get all the ammunition in the weapons room
(to your left at the very start). Then, move on to the Major. When he tells
you to go to the bunkers, take Ragman and the Doc and crouch down next to
the Major. Then, take Junior and put him in the first bunker to your right
and up the stairs. Then, take Hoss and put him in the next bunker down.
Whenever someone dies, the Doc will heal them.
Air Cav mission: Use mortar launcher:
-------------------------------------
After you hold off the first attack from the Viet Cong, your next objective
instructs you to go back to the starting point of the mission to defend another
attack from the VCs. When you reach the open area where your squad started,
look to the left. You should see a mortar launcher ready to use. Have Ragman
and either Doc or Hoss use it. It requires two people to use (one fires and
the other aims). Start shooting towards the openings that VCs come from and
start firing. You may not seem to hit anything, but should notice that less
VCs come from the entrances once you start firing. Keep this up until the
mission ends or the mortar gets destroyed. Note: The mortar does not have
unlimited ammunition; use it wisely.
Air Cav mission:
----------------
After you kill all the NVA around the southern perimeter, follow the major
to the northern perimeter and defend. Do not stay around the major; artillery
will fall around your position and kill you. Instead, you will see the Vietnamese
coming from three paths. Go in those paths and kill all the Vietnamese, then
just keep running around the area killing them. The artillery will not hit you.
Also watch out for Vietnamese with RPG-7v; they will fire and kill your squad.

rightmost side of the screen. Fall down with them. When you hit the
bottom, where there is an island with water on the left side, stand
next to the right side, which is a wall that you cannot see. Wait
for the squashes to fall and hit you. When they hit you, you will
begin to fall asleep, but you will hit the wall and the "Loading The
Land of Tuberia" message will appear. You will not lose a life, but
Parsnip Pass will be completed.
Fly:
----
Find a spot where you want to go up, and jump. While in midair, shoot
down as you are falling. . If done correctly, Keen will be standing
about a one shot width off the ground. Just look up and shoot. You will
take off straight up at the speed of your shot. Note: Some practice is
required to get the correct timing.

Press B + A + T to receive an extra life, 99 rounds of ammunition, and
all four diamond keys for a level.

How the CPU cheats:
-------------------
The CPU cheats in the following ways:
-It starts with more money.
-It can rebuild their buildings even when they have no
buildings nearby.
-It can rebuild their Construction Yard without an MCV.
You can easily get around the last two, however, by taking out all
their Construction Yards. With no Construction Yards, they cannot
rebuild without an MCV. Destroy all their Airstrips and/or War
Factories to keep them from getting more MCVs.
Controlling air units:
----------------------
Note: This trick works for both the GDI and NOD. To control air
units in midair, simply give the helicopter a team number. This
allows you to give multi strikes without reloading.
Protect units:
--------------
If you want to protect a certain units (for example, an ore truck)
select a vehicle then hold [Ctrl] + [Alt] then click on the unit
you wish to protect. It will follow it around for protection.
More Tiberium:
--------------
Build a "wall" around Tiberium when playing against the CPU. Make
sure to also close up the entrances to your base. Then, press R to
display the surrender option. Do not press anything else and wait
for some length of time. Then, choose the "Cancel" option.
The Tiberium amount should have increased on the map.
Note: make sure the Tiberium is "regenerateable".
Destroying the Temple of NOD:
-----------------------------
Surprisingly, the CPU NOD usually keeps its Temple in a small second
base, apart from its main base. This base is also usually very poorly
defended. There will usually be only one Obelisk guarding it, however
they also usually fill it with SAM sites making an air attack futile.
Also, the CPU will not use the Nuclear Missile until the Temple is
attacked, and for good reason -- there is only one nuke attack allowed
per game per player. First, build a second base large enough that you
can still fight if your first one, or it, is destroyed. Then, get a
large army and mass it outside the base close, but far enough away to
be out of range of the enemy's Obelisk. Get an Ion Cannon shot ready
and use it to attack the Temple. It will fire its nuke at one of your
bases, destroying it. However, now they have used up their only nuke
and you do not have to worry about it anymore. Order your army to
swarm the base, first taking out Obelisk, then any Turrets, then
everything else except for one building. Take over the building,
barricade the base with walls, then build walls or buildings over
where they had buildings so they cannot rebuild them.
Wall tricks:
------------
This trick requires a Construction Yard, a high enough tech level
to at least build Sandbags, and decent amount of money (depending
on where your base is located). Build Sandbags/Fences/Concrete Walls
to close up entrances to your base. Make sure the walls are not too
close to your base, because the enemy will just shoot over it.
The enemy AI is too dumb to know that they can "tear" down walls
and they will just stop when they get to the wall.

General Strategies:
-------------------

This guide explains how things should be done in Tiberian Dawn.
This includes base buildup and management, defense setup, achievement of combat
leadership and attacks on hostile bases.
The first thing you will have to do is to build your base.
I recommend the following scheme of building your base:
Power Plant
Barracks/Hand of Nod
Tiberium Refinery
Advanced Power Plant
Weapons Factory/Airstrip
Communications Center
Service Depot
Weapons Factory/Airstrip
Advanced Power Plant
Tiberium Refinery and several Tiberium Silos
Advanced Communications Center or Temple of Nod
Several Helicopter Pads
Base defensive perimeter
While building all this, keep in mind the following tips:
---------------------------------------------------------
1. Build several defensive structures once you already have something to protect.
2. Place Tiberium Refineries close to Tiberium fields so you harvest Tiberium faster.
3. Always build a second Harvester for each refinery.
4. Surround your vital structures, such as the Construction Yard, with walls if the enemy is
likely to send Engineers.
5. Place your Airstrips closer to the eastern side of your base so cargo is delivered faster.
6. Make sure you protect your Weapons Factory properly, because it is very vulnerable.
7. Don't build too many Tiberium Silos, because you are likely to spend money faster than
you get Tiberium in quantities required to store.
8. Build your Helicopter Pads close to each other so your aircraft attack enemy targets altogether.
9. While building your defensive perimeter, don't make the passages too tight so your army can
get out of the base, but don't make them too wide either, so the enemy cannot rush into your base.
Besides, make sure there are no weak points in your perimeter.
Advertisement:
--------------
Now that you have your base up and running, attend to the battles around it. I recommend sending
out scouts and revealing a large portion of the map so you are always aware of what your enemy is
doing. Besides, always keep medium strength groups on the major routes to your base so they engage
the attacking enemy first.Another important thing is to engage the enemy where you want and not where
the enemy wants. If your units are faster, hit and run the enemy force until you bring them to your
chosen point. If your units are slower but have more firepower, either try to surround the enemy, or
move your whole army in a single tight group against the enemy force.
What regards choosing places to fight your enemy -- if your opponent has fewer vehicles than you
(quantity is important), try moving through tight places and then coming around, blocking the enemy in
the valley and methodically destroying it. If you don't have many vehicles, try withdrawing to the entrance
into your base, because then the enemy will have to engage more hostiles, including your defensive structures.
If you are trying to attack the enemy and he sends out a group of units to counter you, try doing one of
the following things: if you have units with superior range, try bombarding enemy units from afar, forcing
them either to withdraw, or to approach you. If your units have no long-range weapons, but some of them have
a high speed, launch a high-speed assault into the enemy base to distract the enemy, and then move in your
heavy armor.

Build buildings far away from ur base:

N.B: In Skirmish.
First make sure you have "MCV Repacks" on. Build ur power sources, then
click on ur Mobile Construction Yard and click anywere on the map. When
ur MCV can delploy, deploy it. Then build a power source then barracks
then war factory and play on. Now build the rest of your buildings.
The idea of this is, is that when you have super weopons and the enemy
has one to he will attack ur war factory first. Now this gives you a
chance to destroy his MCY, while his building a super weapon attack.

In multiplayer game(usually), use your chrono legionaire to protect
your structures. Make him attack your own building (ctrl-click)
protecting enemy airstrike. But hey stop him before your structure's
gone.
Also, if you're using soviet team(in skirmish game), make yuris and
once you can capture ifv's, load a crazy ivan and the unit becomes
something like a demolition truck.

To destroy any building , just buid the choronosphere
and make it completely ready,before getting it ready
or after that build 3 to 4 prism tanks and then make
them stand closely and then send them to any where or
close to any buliding you wanna destroy then order the
prism tanks to only attack that bulding or structure ,
they will destroy with thier two or three fires.

I dunno if other players can apply this cheat.
In skirmish mode, just after you start the game,
built power plant, ore refinery, barracks, and war
factory. STOP building structures. produce 2-4 miners
and min. 3 tanks. maybe you can build a couple (2-3)
pillboxes/sentry gun, but that's enough! figure out
where the heck you are in the map and the possible
attack from enemy. try to defend your base with only
tanks and anti-air units(IFV,rocketeers,flak trooper,
flak track). if you're an allies, build a repair vec.
(IFV+engineer).after each enemy attack, repair your
tanks.use the environment as your defense advantage
(I send 2-3 snipers under the tree,hehe). then, after
you successfully defend your base for several attacks,
build other structures. (oh, I forgot, after you produced
the miners, build radar. explore the map so you can see
where/when the enemy will attack). don't built prism/tesla
tower...waste of money and enerG.air defense structure
are acceptable.Instead, to!
"upgrade" your defense, build 6-8 mirage/apocalypse tanks
and place them in several strategic places to block the
enemy (I really Mirage tanks,very effective defensive units!).
After you have plenty of money(okay,actually 9000 is enough
to start), mass produce your primary assault units(prism tanks,
apocalyse tanks) and build another repair vec.(if you're an
allies) to cover the damage in the middle of attacks. producing
add. anti-air units are also useful here (if you built apocalypse,
you already have air defences!). then, start your attack. on my
experiences 1 good,planned attack can destroy even the brutaliest
(is that right?) enemy. practice this strategy, modified it to
your needs and finally you become the ultimate C&CRA2 strategist
(is that so?).I even tried it with 7 easy enemies,1 brutal and
2 medium enemies, even 2 brutal and 2 normal enemies and only
lose a couple (max. 19 units loss) in a battle.

units)! effectively, and be a "daredevil" in the battle (you

protect against nukes - and bad weather:

when playing as allies (against computer) it is
important to build your war factory and barracks
away from the rest of your base. If the enemy launches
the nuke, their first target is your war factory and
then your barracks. You might also want to build a
backup and set the rally points out of the range of
the nukes. If you are playing as soviets, remember
that they can do the same with you wit the lightening
storm.

Block the Bridges

To block a broken wooden bridge from being repair by
enemy, all you do is put a dolphin/squid/sub inside
the gap of a broken wooden bridge. This prevents the
enemy from repairing the bridge, and they (most of the
time) will not realise that your unit is preventing them
from doing so. This tactic works brilliantly on some maps.
So, if you block of their land forces you can concentrate
on aerial/naval attack..
Ultimate NUCLEAR Weapon !!

For an extremely potent nuclear weapon. Play as Libya and
build 4-5 demo trucks. Make sure your nuclear missile and
iron curtain are ready and position all the trucks just
outside the base. Use the iron curtain on as many as possible
and then drive them into the base, equally spreading them out
in a circle. THEN set your missile in the middle of the base
and if done right it should set off all the demo trucks for
ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION !!!
Good Base Defence (Urban Maps)

This is a good base defence for those who play in urban map.
Try to build as many GIs/Conscripts and garrison all the
buildings near your base. This will stop your enemy from
entering your base.
Cheap Demo Truck
----------------
For this tactic to work you need to have access to a
Crazy Ivan/Terrorist and an IFV. Put the Crazy Ivan/Terrorist
into the IFV and you got a nice cheap demo truck.
Soviet Tank Tactic
------------------
This tactic is good if you are Soviets. When you start
your game build 2 Refineries and then when you have Power
Plants and Barracks, build a War Factory. After that build
a few Ore Miners, then build about 15 tanks, after that just
attack them, I have won many games like that, it catches them
off gaurd.
Anti-Iron Curtain
-----------------
There are three ways to stop iron curtained units:
1 - Use Yuris or PSI Commandos to take them over
2 - Use Chrono Legionnaires to freeze them
3 - Use the Chronosphere to pick them up and then deposit
them in the water or on cliffs
Spy Attack
----------
This is common sense really - But the easiest way to beat
the computer on brutal is to get a spy into one of their
Refinerys - You will get from 15k to even 80k!! This will
allow you to build a lot of tanks and other units - which
should ensure victory without doubt.
How to Beat Brutals Easily
--------------------------
If you are playing against more than one Brutal enemy you
should first build defenses and then Engineers. If the
enemy is the opposite for example your Soviet and there
Allie than capture the construction yard after the rest
off the base is destroyed by using Prizm Tanks. Re-pack
the MCV and breing it to your base or just build anywhere.
Now you can be Allie and Soviet at the same time.
Useful Cows/Cars

Take over some cows or cars with a Yuri then control them
go next to you enemys base then make a Crazy Ivan put the
bomb on the cow or car. Walk it up next to your enemy bulding
and BOOM !! Destroying or damaging the building.

Good Use of the V3:

If you play as the soviets, one of the best way to use the
V3 Rocket is to have about 3 Rhino tanks for each V3 Rocket
to protect them. If you have about 5 V3 Rockets and 12 - 15
Rhino tanks you can take out a medium base! One of the reasons
is that the V3 Rocket fire very long!
The Magic School Bus (Soviet):

Take a Yuri and mind control a school bus (if they're on the map).
You can put five infantry into the Bus and drive it into an enemy
base, they won't fire on it.

Build five or six demolition trucks. Make sure you have a
fully charged Iron Curtain. Send the Trucks into an enemy base,
before they come in range of their weapons, cast the Iron Curtain
on them. They'll be invincible until they reach their target, at

Chronosphere Trick:

Want to have some fun with the enemy player? Charge up the
Cronosphere and use it on the enemy unit, then drop it in the
water. Watch the war miner go down to the bottom! Bye bye.
Also try it on ships and drop them on land. Killing an entire
infantry group is fun since infantry can die under the effects
of the Chronosphere. Go ahead, try it!

Unstopable Attack:

This hint will make any attack with the ALLIES 100% effective.
(1) Build x amount of dogs.
(2) Build half amount of soldiers (any type except Rocketeers)
(3) Build the same amount of tanks as soldiers. (any type)
Now set 2 dogs to guard a soldier and each soldier to guard a
tank. Send the tanks to attack a base and they will be
completely guarded. If someone attacks a soldier, the dog
will tear him to bits, and if an attack on a tank is made,
soldiers will take care of the problem.
Secret infantry units:
----------------------
If you send spies into your enemy's Barracks, Battle
Lab and War Factory you can unlock secret infantry units
and will be able to build tanks and other units already
promoted with one stripe. For example, in battle with the
Soviets the Yuri Prime, Chrono Ivan, Chrono Commando, Psi
Commando can be unlocked.
Prism Tower creep:
------------------
Use the following trick to overrun any CPU controlled Soviet
base as the Allies. It is especially useful in the second to
last Allies mission, where you are pitted against a heavily
defended base with three nuke silos which must be defeated in
order to claim victory. First, create a very heavily fortified
main northern base. Abandon the far northern mineral field and
sell the ore factory there. The most important things in this
part of the strategy are to create a reasonably well protected
beachhead to the south of this base with Prism Towers and
Patriot Missile Launchers. The second item involves some use
of the Prism Tower creep strategy. First, build a Power Plant
to the outside of your base in the direction of where you want
to defend or attack. Then, build Prism Towers as far as possible
in the direction you want to go. Finally, build another Power
Plant next to the Prism Towers you just built -- thereby
extending your range of building Prism Towers and also increasing
your power supply in the process. Continue doing this and adding
extra Towers where needed to create a solid line of access
between Towers, and amplify the damage. Do this on the bridge
just north of your base and blow it out so the enemy cannot cross.
Fortify the Towers there with all the extra GIs you have around
your base. Now that your northern base is well defended, proceed
to the second step. Create an MCV and Transport Hovercraft and
put the MCV into it. Next, go to the far right of the screen with
the Hovercraft, and then straight down. This is the safest ship
lane on the map. While you are moving south with the Hovercraft,
have a Barracks and a Prism Tower building. Also watch the bridge
by the northern base to make sure nobody has managed to sneak
through your defenses. As soon as you land the Hovercraft on the
far southern island, deploy the MCV and build your Barracks and
Prism Tower. Then quickly build another Prism Tower and a Power
Plant. When you have that base defended well enough, build
another Ore Refinery on the southern island in case the nukes
manage to take out the one on the main island and you are low
on money. Employ the Prism Tower creep method mentioned before
with a little more caution when building in range of Telsa Coils.
You should be able to wipe out their base easily. Make sure that
if they launch nukes, you repair or replace all buildings hit by
them, especially those needed to build Prism Towers, as well as
Powerplants. Another useful thing about having a base on the
right side of the southern island is that this is where most of
the enemy planes fly through. You can build Patriot Missile
Launchers which will slow down or halt most of the enemy
paratrooper activity on the northern island. Most of the time,
the enemy will launch his nukes at either your ship building
capabilities or the middle of your main base. Keep a spare MCV
around in case it is taken out. This is not necessary, but is
a precaution in case they figure out to attack the southern
base via nukes. This strategy will allow you to complete the
mission in near half of par time in easy mode.
Defeating the Allies in a skirmish:

This is a very easy game. I finished it in just 2 days. It needs a little
concentration and not like that of command and conquer generals. in this
game you should always try to make the defence first. Then create at least
three mine sweepers.

allie,is to make 8 or more mirage tanks, 5 or more prism tanks. Number
you're mirage as 2 and prism tanks as 1. Mirage tanks are good in destroying
tanks and other units while prism tanks can easily destroy enemy buildings.
While the prism tanks are destroying the buildings of you're enemy, the
mirage tanks will be the one to protect the prism tanks from any attacks
of you're enemy. In attacking bring also a couple of IFV's if in case you
were attack by rocketeers.
Or simply make 15 or more (elite or not) rocketeers, move you're rocketeers
close to the enemy base (not close enough to the base) then get a spy,
infiltrate the enemy's power plant. Destroy first any anti-air attack units
then destroy all power plants then the enemy will be low powered, then

Easy technology:

Build a Battle Lab, then shoot at it until it catches on fire. Then, hire an
Engineer and a Spy. Put the Engineer close to the lab and the Spy further away.
Select both people and make a waypoint between them, then into the lab. There
will be a message stating that your action was canceled, but ignore this. When
the Engineer and the Spy go into the lab, it will be fixed. You will have your
technology updated without leaving your base.
Ally with your desired player. Once allied (preferably with an opponent of the
opposite side), have you and your ally build an MCV. Place the MCV near your
ally's base and deploy it when they are ready. Bring an engineer close to the
Construction Yard and cancel the alliance. Take the Construction Yard and really.

How to swear without it being censored
You may get annoyed when the online version of the game censors out
words. Words like "saddam", "hitler" or even "poo". But know i will tell
you the secret that will let you say these words in full.
1. Type in your word like "poo" (without the speechmarks)
2. Exactly after the word "poo", meaning no spaces, hold alt, and punch
in 2,5,5
3. Then write anything else
4. Easy as that
I use left alt and my numpad (works with me if num lock is on or off).
Alt 2,5,5 gives the 255th character which is just an invisble character,
tricking the computer to think your just writing one long word, while
tricking people it's just a regular space.
Note: You must have a word or charater after the invisble charater,
otherwise it will not work. So you can't just put in "poo(alt 2,5,5)".
It must be "poo(alt 2,5,5)!", or like "poo(alt 2,5,5)lol".

well here is how just open the INIZH in your zero hour directory
open it with a hex editor only and make a copy or you will blame
me for your mistakes ok now when u have opened the file INIZH in

Become a USA air force general, build atlest 3 attack chonocks, inside
1 of them place a cr burton 6 rocket men and one sniper, in the remainding
ones have 6 rocket men and 2 snipers. Because you are the air force general,
you air units have protective lazers making them highly immune from a rocket
attack, also the speed of the will help during an attack of a base, all other
air units. Simly fly over a base, destroy as many power plants as you can to
reduce the power, then destroy any pulse tanks (the ones with 2red beams and
1 blue, these can pose a great threat), from there it is easy to gather untit

Falling motorcycle driver:

Take the motorcycle on the GLA and make him drive as fast as he can off
a very steep cliff. He will go for a short distance, then fall straight
down. It will hurt him while on the bike. However while in the air and
still dropping perfectly straight down, evacuate him. He will fall and
get hurt, but his health will increase to the length of the bikes.
Chinese: Base infiltration army:
--------------------------------
Note: This army requires skills in range and stealth (hiding). The units required
are one to ten Battlemasters, one to ten Gattling Tanks, one to five Nuke Cannons,
Black/Super Lotus. Tech Buildings needed are Tech Repair Bay and/or Tech
Reinforcement Pad. Use the Nuke Cannons to destroy base defenses.
If aircraft/infantry/tanks arrive to kill the Nuke Cannons, kill them with the
Battlemasters and Gattling Tanks. Use Super/Black Lotus to get in the base and
capture buildings. Super/Black Lotus is revealed when using abilities, so defend
her with the tanks described above. When the building capture is complete, sell
the building at once unless you are going to use it for something else. Quickly
click on the Super/Black Lotus and let her run. Avoid Speaker Towers and other
stealth-revealing tanks or buildings. This will reinforce her stealth ability.
Destroy all buildings that cannot be captured with the Nuke Cannons and tanks.
You will not have to completely destroy the Base Defenses, as they are not
important in your victory. Note that Speaker Towers must be destroyed to win.
Note: If your opponent is U.S.A. or China and has superweapons, capture the
power plants first.
Watch a shell map:

If you just want to watch a shell map, but not on the main menu, put the file into
the maps folder. When you go to the Skirmish menu, go to "Unofficial Maps". The
shell map should be in the area where missions are, with no player number next to

Seaside Mutiny: Easy win:

When fighting a battle on the Seaside Mutiny map, at the front of your base where the
artillery platforms are, build the following. For the Chinese, build two Gattlin Guns
and a Bunker filled with Rocket Troopers. For U.S.A.. build two Patriots and a Fire
Base with Rangers. For GLA, build two Stingers and a Tunnel Network. Capture the
artillery platforms, then repeat the defense pattern on the sides as many times as
possible. You can now build in the entire area without fear of enemy aircraft or
land units.
U.S. Campaign level 4: Easy completion:

When you get to the oil field level, build your base. Then put several missile launchers
and Fire Storms at the north of your base, Build a very large force but do not destroy
the radar station or the GLA will send a non-stop assault on your base. The suicide units
do a lot of damage but are easier to kill. Then, use your A-10 assault, etc. to weaken
their perimeter. Find the CIA agents and destroy their buildings, then take your assembled

Always keep your finger poised over the repair key so you can
save yourself from disaster should you fall off a building or
wind up on the receiving end of an opponent's vicious attack.
If you're not quick enough you could end up getting wasted.
To complete the mission in which all of the escaped mental
patients must be killed and a lone patient is located atop an
inaccessible plateau, drive to the base of the hill where the
straggler is standing. Then honk your horn continuously.
He'll eventually panic and fall to his death.
If you wish to maximize your credits in any given level, forget
about completing the race. Instead plan to waste all but one of
your opponents and then use the bonus time you've established to
clean up on the pedestrians and power-ups. Once you've had your
fill, you can waste the final opponent to end the level.

Door Cheat

During the game, if there are a bunch of peds,
press shift then enter and you will open your
doors and kill them (press enter again and you
will close the doors and you will have to just
hit enter any other time).

If you want a quick cheat, you will have to edit the

(... is the directory into which you installed Carmageddon 2).
Near the start of the file (in the general stuff section) you
should see a line that has three numbers followed by the text

In addition, on the line below you should see three numbers

take off at the start of a race before the announcer
finishes counting down: As soon as the race comes up,
and you arer ready, hold down the Z key or your wheel

say, "Hey you!" and then you're free to take off with
a mighty advantage way before the announcer finishes
counting down!

for the mission; control freak, i've found a much easier way of completing
the level not included. if you go to the runway strip on the east of the
level, ride all the way to the end and you'll find an earth ramp to reach
over the water. the first red crate is electro-bastard ray, then quickly

provided you come within a realistic distance of the tower the ray will

*Pickup and throw the powder kegs instead of wasting
precious ammo
*You do not have very many magic attacks to use in Claw.
Only use magic if you can defeat at least two enemies with one
attack.
*Jump and throw dynamite to get at those hard to reach places
*Use the Catnip Power-up to get the items that are normally
out of reach, but be quick, as your Catnip will not last very
long!
*Extra lives are awarded every one million points. Try and
find as much Treasure as you can to rack up your score!
*Pickup and throw your enemies whenever you have the chance.
Save your ammo for the enemies that have long-range
attacks to use against you.
*Don't hoard your Pistol Ammo and Dynamite. Use these against
the regular enemies in the levels as these weapons
normally will not work against the Bosses in the game.
*Always, be on the lookout for Warps and secrets in the levels.
The warp areas will contain the best treasure, and are also
the only way to collect all of the treasure in the level.
*There is one Super Secret area in level 11, one in level 13,
and one in level 14. You don't need Catnip to get to these
areas, but they are extremely hard to find. See if you can
find all three of them!
Defeating Specific Enemies:
---------------------------
*The best trick to defeat the Robber Thieves and Cutthroats,
on levels 3 and 4, is to dodge their arrows and knives and
attack them with a high slash attack.
*The white and brown Guard Dogs, on levels 5 and 6, are very
defensive. Your sword will rarely do damage against them.
*Use your pistol on them instead!
*The Bear Sailors on levels 7, 8, and 13 will try to grab and
crush you. If you get grabbed, quickly press as many buttons
and movements as you can to get out of the attack.
*Red Tail Pirates on levels 7, 8, and 13 hate to be punched.
They are most vulnerable to an attack immediately after they
swing at you.
*A quick way to defeat the crabs on level 7 is to use a
Magic Claw.
*Peg Leg Pirates on levels 9 and 10 will be stunned if you hit
them in their peg leg. They also hate to be punched.
*Crazy Hook Pirates on levels 9 and 10 will swing their hooks
at you. After they swing, you can run in close to hit them.
*The Mercats on levels 11 and 12 will shoot tridents at you if
they see you. Try to stay out of sight and come in for a
sneak attack.
*The Sirens on level 11 and 12 will freeze you if they hit you
with their attack so make sure that you rid the area of any
*Mercats before you get near the Sirens.
*The Royal Tiger Guards on level 14, hate to be picked up and
thrown.
Defeating Bosses:
-----------------
Le Rauxe, (level 2)
Jump towards Le Rauxe and as you come down from the jump,
attack him. Immediately crouch and attack La Rauxe again
and then jump back, out of the way of his attack. If you
get too close to a wall, jump over Le Rauxe to the other
side of the room and start your attack pattern again.
Don't stand still for very long, and you'll lacerate Le
Rauxe in no time!
Katherine, (level 4)
Jump towards Katherine and hit her with a high slash attack.
As soon as your feet hit the ground, jump away from her and
repeat. If you happen to stun Katherine, kneel down in front
of her and attack as many times as you can. Running away does
not work against Katherine, as her whip will be able to hit
you wherever you go. Keep jumping and you'll kill Katherine,
quickly!
Wolvington, (level 6)
Jump towards Wolvington and hit him with a high slash attack.
Immediately attack Wolvington with a low slash to force him
back. Now, quickly jump towards him and repeat. Wolvington
will shoot magic attacks at you, so be prepared to dodge like
crazy! If you stay fairly close to him, he won't shoot attacks
at you, but he will try close range attacks, so be careful.
Keep it up and you'll waste Wolvington!
Gabriel, (level 8)
Jump up the disappearing platforms to the top and then jump to
the right and hit the switch on the mast. This will tilt the
cannon so that it's pointing at Gabriel. Then next time Gabriel
fires a cannonball at you, it will hit him instead. Now, just
jump back up the platforms and repeat until Gabriel does himself
in! Fend off the enemies that hop down to fight you, and try the
best you can to avoid the explosions while you're hitting that
switch and you'll win!
Marrow, (level 10)
Wait by the pit and hit the parrot when you see it fly towards
you. After you hit the parrot three times, the bridge will appear.
Run across the bridge and use a jumping high slash attack on
Marrow. Once you hit Marrow five times, the parrot will pick
Marrow up and fly to the opposite side of the screen. Quickly
jump up to the platform and wait for the parrot again. Keep
repeating until you mash Marrow!

Aquatis, (level 12)
Use your sword to hit the three tentacles and get them out of
your way. Now, run to the right edge of the platform and heave
a stick of dynamite by holding the button down, into a small
hole just behind Aquatis. The dynamite will explode in the hole
and shake loose a stalactite from the ceiling. The stalactite
will fall and do damage to Aquatis. Now, quickly run as far to
the left as you can to avoid Aquatis' tentacle frenzy and then
repeat. There is no need to stand on the small floating platform
next to Aquatis for any reason. Keep it up and you'll soon abolish
Aquatis!
Red Tail, (level 13)
The first thing you want to do, is to hop up onto the platform
above you. You'll be torn to shreds if you stay on the ground.
Stay up high to avoid most of Red Tail's attacks. Once you are
up above, try and stay right over Red Tail as he runs back
and forth. When he jumps up to your platform, kneel down and
attack when he lands from his jump. He should then jump
back down to the ground. Stay up there and repeat until Red
Tail is roasted! If you'd like a little extra help with Red
Tail, stay on the bottom and run like crazy to the right.
Make a running jump out into the water and you will land on
a hidden platform in the water. Keep going to the right and
grab the special goodies then ride the moving platform back
to the battle!
Omar, (level 14)
Omar has protective shields going around him, so your special
attacks aren't going to do any damage on him. Drop down to the
area below and look at Omar to see what shield he has around
himself. Omar switches between a Fire shield and an Ice shield,
so if you see a Fire shield, climb up the ladder and follow the
right path. Climb down the next ladder and go to the right.
Grab the Ice Sword and return to Omar. Now, shoot an Ice bolt
through the opening in Omar's shield to do damage. If you see
an Ice shield, climb up the ladder and follow the left path.
Climb down the next ladder and go to the left. Grab the Fire
Sword and return to Omar. Now, shoot a Fire bolt through the
opening in Omar's shield to do damage. Keep doing this until
you obliterate Omar. Now, climb up the ladder and ride the lift
up to the top. You'll need to time your jumps over the lava
and Omar's attacks and jump over to him. Once you are next to
Omar, attack him with your sword to do damage. Now, go over
to the opposite side and repeat until you win the game!

Defeating Wolvington in Level 6:

I found myself defeating Wolvington a tough task so I decided to help the others.
To Defeat Wolvington you need some 10 to 15 magic claws.
Though the magic claws don't hurt him but preserve them.
When you will reach to Wolvington then just stand there as it is, don't do anything
he will come towards you. As soon as he comes in your reach pick him up with "Z" key
and go to either any side of wall (preferably left wall i suppose) & stop when you
will reach two steps away from wall & throw Wolvington. As soon as u throw him go close
to him & sitdown & attack him continuosly with sword. Don't stop! You may try to pick
him once again & throw him & continue as above.
Unfortunately Wolvington does not every time comes close to you at start when you
don't do anything. So for that when you will see he is attacking with his magic try
your magic attack on him & at the same time go towards him & pick him up,
ur magic attack will do at least two things,
1)His magic attack will be canceled by ur attack & u can reach Wolvington attacking &
pick him 2)Ur magic attack can stop him reaching u or he will stop attacking you
with his magic becoz he is busy in recovering from ur attacks.
so using attacks keep him busy & pick him up & do as told in beginning.
And You will finish Wolvington easily!
